Another awesome dinner.......

Probably this is the 2nd & 3rd time i had an awesome dinner..... and this time with my housemate's parents, 2 days in a row, we went out for dinner yesterday, and today, heheh, i prepared dinner and the feedback...... well, they said it was very nice, did not expect me to cook up such a nice dish, in other words, low expectation lol....

So yesterday, it was my housemate, my sister's BF's graduation, therefore his parents were here, they were already here the day before yesterday, the graduation was morning to around 1 or 2 i guess, but then my sister & him went out after that, but they sent his parents back 1st, while they were at the ceremony, i was alone at home, i made up breakfast & lunch for myself, heheh, i was pretty proud of it lol

This was my lunch, noodles with smoked salmon & prawn & seafood paste, and egg, did not get the egg perfect though coz the egg yolk busted heheh...

So at night, to celebrate, we went out to a restaurant for dinner, it was pretty good, but most important we had a good time... drank wine & beer eventhough i am allergic to alcohol.... so what ?? i drink only once in a while, yesterday was the "once in a while" lol

My sister is the one at the left, her BF and his parents, the one beside me is a good friend and was a former housemate of theirs, before i came... very funny girl

Okay, so that was yesterday, now as for today, we woke up to go for the farmer's market at around 8.30, and spent whole morning and afternoon out in town, and then had a really good lunch at a take away restaurant which was run by a former boss of my sister and the other 2.... then we took a stroll in the botanical garden behind where we lived..... they had a small Australian "zoo" inside there, it was really nice... then we came home and me & my sister's BF prepared dinner, which was a total success haha....

We went to the farmer's market and was there for like 1 hour, and we met our dear friend that was with us for dinner yesterday there at the farmer's market, and she pretty much joined us for the rest of the day.... we continued to the park just opposite th
e market, and the park was pretty lively today... and there we took a stroll and looked at big group of ducks, his parents and me, were amazed, coz if it was back in m'sia, the ducks would've all been caught by people, probably slaughtered and served as dinner lol....


So we continued to get some stuff for his mom, and i decided to cook up dinner tonight for everybody, and we went to get the things i need for the dish... then we went off for lunch, is was a take away restaurant ran by a former boss of my sister, her bf and the other friend with us... he was a really nice and friendly guy from Hong Kong, we really enjoyed the foods he prepared for us, i loved the coffee that he made... and he's such a nice fella that he did not charge us for the food because they 3 were his former employees, really felt bad that we ate and he didn't charge us for it....

We then went to the botanical garden that's just nearby our house after that, and the place was also very nice, there was a mini Australian wildlife zoo in
it, and yeah, i pretty much enjoy it, some of the birds actually are running around freely.... apart from few which are kept apart because of their vicious manner, there are others which were also kept apart and separated because they could be dangerous as well...

Then dinner haha....... the long awaited preparation for dinner...... heheh, it was gonna be prepared by me & my sister's BF, he did potatoes & salad, while i made Basa Fillet sailor styled, it would be better if the fish was trout, but they did not have trout at the place we bought, it was not fresh trout, well, Basa would be good as well, so we got started at about 7.10, everything was done by 7.40, so all sat down together and started our dinner, haha.... compliments for both of us, i must say... a job well done haha.... the other friend had little expectation from me because i've only been in cookery school for like 2 months, and i came up with such a good dish... so it was thumbs up from her :)






The meal was salad, baked potatoes and Basa fillet with prawns & bacons pan fried with butter

Then we sent her back to where she is currently staying, at a friend's house, she once lived here in Wagga Wagga but currently living in Melbourne, came back for the graduation ceremony... so we dropped her at the house, and we got down for a while... but photo taking was not over yet, she brought us into the bathroom lol, coz the bathroom was really nice, haha.... she got in the bathroom 1st, and when we looked inside, there she was....... and my sister joined in lol




So yeah, it was pretty much 2 awesome days in a row, although i do feel that i had too much cholesterol now, i had like 3 days of at least 1 seafood meal.... tomorrow will be the last day that i see his parents and my sister here, they will be going to certain places around Australia, so is her BF, which means i'm alone here for 2 weeks.... i can't join them as because i have to do my workplacement during the holidays, and my sister will be going back to M'sia on the 27th... i guess i'll be left with him in the house then after this.... oh well, hope they would enjoy themselves, i pretty much know that i will be enjoying my work placement as well...
